Chase Cavanaugh is a Denver-based indie alternative singer-songwriter with folk influences and a nostalgic 2000s feel. Chase brings a raw sense of lyricism that is personal: a stream of consciousness, a journal entry, or a conversation with a friend. His songwriting draws listeners in to who he is and who he aims to become. With an extensive performance resume in pop country since he was thirteen—playing major country music festivals, recording a full-length album, and opening for artists such as Sheryl Crow—Chase went on to study at Berklee College of Music. There he took a hiatus from performing in his early twenties while he discovered his queerness, collecting stories along the way and using his musicality through serving the community in the field of Music Therapy. The songwriting never stopped; as he grew more comfortable in his identity and sense of self, he craved his artistry and the unique connection performing brings. With his best music still to come he is thriving in the Denver music scene as both an avid performer and music educator. He puts on energetic performances both with a full band and acoustically, fostering connections with fans through his authenticity and inviting demeanor.
